Disclaimer

Have you ever done an extensive Google search just to find the perfect blog for you?  Excitedly you click on the link only to find it has one post...from 2001?  That might be how this ends up, so no promises!  It could be just a temporary fling for me.

Some days the posts will be just an inspirational quote, a product review, a mundane daily experience, but it will always be solely MY opinion or observation.  It will simply be a stream of consciousness style, just putting my thoughts and feelings out there.  I hope people can deal with my word choice and grammar!  There may also be some "retro references"...hey, I grew-up in the 80s.  I am no longer "current" or "with it."

So yeah, I have Chronic Lyme Disease (and some other fun micro-organism stuff and complications that can come with it), and I fully hope this blog is a great resource for other "Lymies," but I want to keep it a happy, positive place as much as possible.  No scary (my husband asked me to nix that word from my vocabulary) symptom sharing, or detailed horror stories.  That's not to say that illness or dis-ease won't come up, but only in the context of being helpful.  I have been to more than enough websites that I had to view from behind my parted fingers and that would scare the wits out of you!  Most of us don't need an increased heart rate and more to worry about!

Look, life can be hard in one way or another for everyone.  We all have challenges and disappointments, but it's all about what you do with them.  They should be springboards, not shackles.  I hope this site will help you EMBRACE YOUR GRACE, encourage you to be your best self, and bring some positivity to your day.

WARNING:  I am wordy.  I love punctuation, so I overuse it.
I might end up contradicting myself.
I am human and learning as I go.

PLEASE NOTE:  Though I may reference medical information and advice, I am obviously not qualified to give medical advice, so please see a doctor or trained professional if you need to.

COMMENTS:  I encourage and welcome comments, but just ask that you keep it positive.  If you have anything negative or "scary" (symptoms, etc.) to share, please keep it to private messages.  Otherwise, I look forward to hearing what you have to say!
